Information we handle

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, generate and store your writing, show your library, provide support, process billing, limit abuse, and maintain the service. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your prompts or stories to train a Molty Studios AI model. We also use anonymous app usage events to understand which features are used and to find and fix problems.

When information is shared

Service providers help us run WriteForYou, including Logto for authentication, MongoDB Atlas for stored account and story data, DigitalOcean for application hosting, AWS S3 for generated images, AI model providers for requested generation, and Stripe, Apple, or RevenueCat for purchases and subscription status. Google receives sign-in information if you choose Google sign-in. Each provider handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Muse is optional. If you connect WriteForYou to Muse, you authorize a read-only connection to your own library. When you ask Muse to list stories, we send bounded titles, summaries, status, and activity data to Muse. When you ask it to read a chapter, we send the requested portion of that chapter to Muse and therefore to Meta. Meta may retain or use that information under its own privacy terms; review those terms before connecting. The connector does not let Muse generate, change, publish, delete, or purchase anything in WriteForYou.

Storage, retention, and your choices

We keep account and writing data while your account is active, unless you delete it. Some security, billing, or transaction records may be retained when needed for legal obligations or dispute resolution. You can delete stories in the product and delete your account using the steps at Delete account. Disconnecting Muse stops future connector calls; it does not erase information already included in Muse conversations. Manage those conversations with Meta.

You can contact swapp19902@gmail.com with an access, correction, or deletion request if you cannot use the in-app controls.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how we use your information.
